Hey everyone, we're Maybe, symphonic prog from Argentina in the making. Greatly inspired by Focus, Yes, King Crimson, Rush, Crucis, La Maquina de Hacer Pajaros, and more. We've been playing some ELP, Opeth, Guthrie songs and have now started making our own.
We've developed a kind of signature in the shape of medleys, gathering the best moments of our favorite bands and turning them into an instrumental song. So far, medleys have been made for Yes, Rush, Crucis, Focus and Deep Purple.

The rest are yet to be uploaded, but we will really soon!

Glad to see you like it! Truth is these videos aren't really the best we can offer, they're kinda old (Half a year ago, more or less) and have several mistakes in them, I didn't even do the paradiddlediddle on Heart of the Sunrise! We plan to make a better recording (camera and audio) later on and upload it but we're just getting opinions for now

Hey man it's rock; mistakes just add character.

Yeah! But it's also prog, we crave that feeling of perfection, knowing every little note and beat is supposed to be there at the right time.

Or we can just have fun

Wow! You guys are quite talented. I loved the Crucis medley and can't wait to hear when you guys get some original material recorded! Thumbs Up

We're on it! We have just wrapped up a song that's quite similar to La Maquina de Hacer Pajaros blended with Focus, that just can't go wrong!

I've just uploaded a small Tarkus (Eruption) cover. Keyboards unluckily fall behind a little bit but it's still listen-able.

^ Okay that's an utter mess.  But you have balls to post it.

Yeah, it's not even properly recorded, don't consider it a thing of proudness more like a behind the scenes on what we're working on

Hello everyone! Maybe is proud to present its first original composition, "Milazzo". This was our first experience composing together and also our first time recording a song.

Very nice track!

I love the slight jazzy touches and light feel; reminds me very much of Senogul, a Spanish band I'm very fond of. Keep up the good work! Thumbs Up

To be honest, I hadn't heard of Senogul until you mentioned it. Sounds nice, I'll take a closer look at their works!

As for Milazzo, I think it has a lot of Focus on it, which is one of our big inspirations. I've also noticed, by sharing it with other people, it seems to be very accesible for non-prog listeners, which I think is a big bonus!

Hello again PA! We've got some new things we thought we should share.

A live Deep Purple medley. This one's for the masses, mostly, yet we can't help but have lots of fun playing this one, Purple truly is amazing.

Same live performance, we thought we'd try something a little bit different and went for an onstage improv. Only the base and ending were predefined, the rest was just placing bets note after note (beat after beat in my case I guess?)

You may have noted the Rush medley in the first post is no more. That is because we re-recorded it with some better audio and more inspired camera angles. It's still a home recording, of course, but at least we're a year older here!

As for the band's original material, we're currently working on new compositions. We've finished three songs which we'll be recording during June (one of which I'll post here, the rest is top secret!), and, judging by the length of the songs and what we expect an album to last, we can say we're pretty close to wrapping it all up!
