Yes - Very nice kid who is kind to everyone Genesis - Yes's best friend King Crimson - Weird boy who is misunderstood but is actually really cool Pink Floyd - Popular kid who really isn't that cool Rush - Popular kid who really IS cool Jethro Tull - Strange artistic boy. Not too many girls like him. Everyone thinks he's on drugs but he's not ELP - Precarious smart*** who needs to stop showing off Van Der Graaf Generator - Heartbroken nerd Mike Oldfield - Creepy kid who is obsessed with The Exorcist Frank Zappa - 11 year old genius who skipped Middle School and is still very immature. Camel - Your usual stoner Gentle Giant - Adnormally tall student who was held back twice but is very kind at heart Rennesaince - Really hot girl who everyone is in love with The Moody Blues - Drug dealer who also loves poetry Le Orme - Atractive and romantic Italian student Magma - Confused French exchange student Dream Theater - Quarterback of the football team Porcupine Tree - Kid who has had a rough past but is very nice That's all I can think of right now. First thing's first: prog bands are not the whole high school; they're just the nerds!  Yes - Actually moderately popular, but he's quite reserved and effeminate. Perpetually happy and easygoing, though. Genesis - Obnoxious theatre kid who's also in the glee club. King Crimson - Studious kid who gets great marks across the board, but is very quiet and reclusive. All the other nerds respect him, even if he doesn't talk to anyone. Pink Floyd - One of the more popular kids in the school, and is only really associated with the nerds because he gets good marks. ELP - The complete horndog who fails spectacularly in all his advances, which he attempts to remedy by going even further over the top the next time around. Jethro Tull - The guy that all the other nerds see as a tough, rugged outdoorsman because he has a patchy beard and wears flannel all the time, but has never lived outside of the city and would actually be completely inept in any real survival situation. Van der Graaf Generator - Very smart and creative, and a budding artist, but most people see him as melodramatic. Has probably cut himself in the past. Camel - Meek and unassuming kid who took a bong hit back in middle school and hasn't quite recovered yet. Henry Cow - Only 15, but he already graduated a while ago and is now taking graduate level math courses. An absolute prodigy and genius, but socially inept in the extreme. Gryphon - Dork who dresses up at the local Renaissance fair. Rush - Freshman who idolizes all the older nerds and tries to be just like them, but simply can't pull it off. Also has a really high pitched voice because he's only 13 and hasn't hit puberty yet. ------------- when i was a kid a doller was worth ten dollers - now a doller couldnt even buy you fifty cents |
