Hi there and welcome to the siteBeer

I took the liberty of moving your thread to 'Music & musicians exchange', where you just might have better luck with your request. The 'Official review our music' forum is for bands already on PA to fish for reviews to appear on our frontpageSmile

Good luck!

No problem, and please don't fuss too much about thread placement here in the beginning. This place is enormous.

Cheers
David

As for your query: You mention that the new stuff is more representative of the band yet it's done with programmed instruments. That doesn't sound right if you're still a band with real players.
Then again, if that is how you guys genuinely sound when you play together, then there shouldn't be a discussion to begin with.

I know not much help at all, but to me it sounds like you need to get your heads together and figure out how you sound...or perhaps more importantly how you want to sound on a record.

Both have programmed drums, they're just quick demo tracks being used in the meantime until we hit the studio in January.

It's more to do with how we promote ourselves for our current gigs until that time really.

The new songs are going fine creativity wise, there is differences on opinions but we are finding an even ground between it all and making tracks we're happy with.

Thanks for the critique!
