Ok, I've made my point. Should all of these popularity polls (as they can be nothing else but subjective views) such as X vs Y, This album vs That album, and Battle of the Bands really be in the Prog Polls section or placed under Just For Fun.
For the record, I choose the latter because these polls are only created to be fun and nothing more.

Wow....we are getting really pedantic lately...aren't we?

Ok....'Just For Fun'......because that's what they always end up being and everyone  knows that Steve G is never wrong.

A poll about the place where you poll. We've really gone downhill.

^To be honest, I don't see the same flair ups in these threads that are so integral to others, so to me they do seem to stay 'fun'. Except some still note exceptions to some categories as if that means anything to a completely subjective poll and somehow makes them seem 'authentic' or 'valid'.

I'm only reacting to others that have been more pedantic than I, Doc.

If the subject is about prog bands (or bands that are on this site in the prog categories) then the poll belongs in the prog polls section.

This poll, however, belongs in JFF. :P

No offense meant. I just thought it was ironic, or whatever you call it.

No offense taken, I was only thinking out loud, as they say.

Neither. This is becoming pollution beyond fun.

^ I couldn't agree more. A silly bunch of rituals if there ever was one. And some members actually bitch that X should not be compared to Y. Yes, that really is fun. And I've had enough.

they're always updated because don't really check back into older threads; they know it's just for fun and so do I. That gets my vote then!

Removed due to PA's deliberated act of deleting threads as alleged featuring negative behaviour posts towards others.

A poll is a poll.   It should be in 'Polls' .

I've been polled many times and it's quite painful, so.

No, the polls should definitely not clutter up the Just for Fun thread. If they're moved there, then I'm opening up a shred room where the Polls used to be.

Also, Just For Fun is found in the Topics Not Related to Music section.

Hey, happy birthday man. [<:o)] I'm going to bake brownies with an ambiguous yet slightly atrocious odor.
