I guess 1968 is a little early for prog, but check out Bill Bartlett's 7-minute guitar jam in this song. It's a more "psych" version of the Byrds' "Eight Miles High" jam, which was even earlier. |

Jake Holmes recorded "Dazed and Confused" in '67. Later that year Page would begin playing and expanding on it with the Yardbirds ("I'm Confused").
