I am pretty sure i started a topic like this about which Gong album to get first. Well, I've gotten The Radio Gnome Trilogy and Camembert Electrique. Now i have the question of: Where do i go from here? I really like Angels Egg and CE over the other two. So, i would prefer albums that are like those in style. Though any suggestions are welcomed.

Thank For The help

"Gong Live Etc" is fantastic. Check out for this one! Most songs were recorded at the time of The Radio Gnome Trilogy.

"Gong Live Etc." contains the by far best version of "Radio Gnome" ever. I suggest to get "Live au Bataclan" too; two songs on "Live Etc." were taken from the tapes of "Live au Bataclan" ("You Can't Kill Me" and "Zero the Hero"), but both have parts of the solos cut out in the "Live etc." version; only the "Live au Bataclan" version contains the complete versions.

Thanks, BaldFriede - I did not listen to "Live au Bataclan", now I want to check out this album.

"Live au Bataclan" has been an interest of mine for a bit. Just one question though: What is the sound quality like??

You won't be disappointed. There may be live albums with better sound quality, but hardly from the time "Live au Bataclan" was recorded (1973).

Just noticed "Live au Bataclan" is not listed in the archives. Tss tss. But it is hard to keep track of all albums of Gong and related bands; even the official Gong homepage says the discography listed there may be incomplete.

Ok, great. I'll start looking for it. Thanks.
