Frank Zappa - Over-nite Sensation
Radiohead - Kid A

Tough call between these three, I'll go with Zappa since he was my first influence in this group. Radiohead gets a close second for originality

Kid A or Hergest Ridge? Both equally brilliant if poles apart musically.  Oldfield's genius wins just. The only other album I care about in the list is Stratosfear although TD were still a few years away from albums that I adore ( Force Majeure, Exit, Tangram)

Some good albums on that list...went with Mahavishnu. That album blew me away when I first heard it and still has great power today .
