ALTROCK PRODUCTIONS & FADING RECORDS NEW RELEASES, January 31, 2015 on AltrOck site, in worldwide distribution just some days after.

ALCO FRISBASS “Same” (FRA) – Fading Records FAD-016
A new rousing episode of pure Canterbury-sound on Fading Records! Alco Frisbass from France advances a spectacular combination of elegant melodies and melting riffs revisiting the best Canterbury’s scenes with the support of: Jacob Holm Lupo (White Willow), Paolo “Ske” Botta (Not A Good Sign, Ske, Yugen), Thierry Payssan (Minimum Vital), Archimede De Martini (Stormy Six).

LA COSCIENZA DI ZENO “La notte anche di giorno” (ITA) – Fading Records FAD-017

“La Coscienza di Zeno”, from Genoa, at their third release, in the style of the best Italian progressive rock of the 70s. Now with a wider ensemble, enriched by a string quartet and distinguished guests such as Simona Angioloni (Hostsonaten, Aries, …) and Joanne Roan (Hostsonaten).

Two long suites – plenty of evolutions and colors – unfold for more than 20 minutes each, just like the two sides of a vinyl in the 70s.

THE NERVE INSTITUTE “Fictions” (USA) – AltrOck Productions – ALT-045
The second release on AltrOck by young american composer and multi-instrumentalist Mike Judge is a chapter that points out his remarkable abilities incorporating melodies in his entangled compositions. “Fictions” exhibits a lot styles, moods and colors, definitely capturing the interest of the listener. Jacob Holm Lupo (White Willow) as a guest on the guitars!

SIMON STEENSLAND “A farewell to brains” (SWE) – AltrOck Productions ALT-046
The new album by the Swedish composer, on the scenes since more than 20 years, offers to us the usual unique combination of rock, classic, contemporary and Zehul. The dark atmosphere and the astonishing performing by Morgan Ågren on drums are the essential features of Steensland’s sound on this album that represents the highest peak of his creativity.

Steensland & Nerve Institute are autobuy for me. Do you you have any online samples (bandcamp, soundcloud, etc) for the others?

Buying Steensland as soon as I can. Always God to see you guys still releasing great music regulatory. My first Alt-Rock album was the last Steensland, it was also my first avant prog album, really great stuff. Definitely propelled me into the genre at full speed.

Alco Frisbass, The Nerve Institute & Simon Steensland are currently up on progstreaming ( http://www.progstreaming.com/_wb/index.php" rel="nofollow - http://www.progstreaming.com/_wb/index.php ) so you can check out the full albums there.
