For 22 years MOOCH are on the forefront of british psychedelic space rock. Powered by the creativity of their main member Steve Palmer, they released several albums of ambient, electronic, progressive, psychedelic and free festival spacerock mindblowing headtrips. Cosmic Eye Records is proud to release their 25th and very first vinyl album "Mrs Silbury's Delicious Mushroom Flavoured Biscuits"; a return to space rock.

Featuring collaborations from Garry Moonboot Masters (Magic Mushroom Band, Astralasia, Moonboot Oz), Cyndee Lee Rule (legendary space violin), Alex Pym (Dream Machine, Damidge), Bridget Wishart (Hawkwind, Demented Stoats, Hippy sl*g., Spirits Burning), Damien Redmond (longtime Mooch member) and Jez Creek (Mooch, Modulator, Astrogator, Cerberus, Quadra) the new album is a continuation of the Silbury family saga that started with the monumental double CDr " Dr Silbury's Liquid Brainstem Band". Here MOOCH offer the additional means of being transported into another realm; with seven progressive space rock excursions that are the perfect vehicle for Steve Palmer's hypnotizing and trippy swirls of sounds. This album is in fact more like a musical journey than a collection of tracks, taking the listener on a magic carpet ride, fuelled by the most intense interstellar psychedelic energy. So far-out!

Does anyone remember the Free Festival years? Heading off for Stonehenge on the Peace Convoy? Club Dog or Alice in Wonderland? Reading Freakbeat, Ptolemaic Terrascope or Crohinga Well? Buying your cassettes & vinyls from the Freak Emporium or at the back of bands' vans? If you want to relive the experience, jump on the MOOCH's mothership, serve yourselves some of Mrs Silbury's delicious mushroom flavoured biscuits, close your eyes and be prepared for the take-off. The trip is about to begin!
