Nice poll.
Toss up between Family and the Fishing Net and Zaar for me. Went for Family, a wonderful piece of musical and lyrical theatre, showing Gabriel at his most inventive.

A close call. I vote for White Shadow, the standout track on his, for the greater part mediocre, second album.

I like White Shadow. I always found that a very creepy and atmospherc track which absolutely would have benefited from a different producer than Fripp.

Down the Dolce Vita--his first album is my favorite---probably in the minority with that--but it only suffers for me in the production which I feel could have been more subtle.

First vote for Zaar. After that And Through the Wire and then Family and the Fishing Net.

Also my favourite PG album. The production is a bit 'murky' although I think he was going for a 'punky' less clean approach to distance himself from Genesis.

Same but no problem with the production. Car and Plays live the best of PG for me.

think you are probably right---his first album had many songs that would have fit nicely on a future Genesis record with a different production approach--his subsequent albums--not so much.

I like all the songs here, but I'll vote for Zaar.
