Which of the Gong albums from the Radio Gnome Invisible trilogy is your favourite. On this website, it seems very centred towards "You" (rightly so Smile), but other websites state that all of them are better than the others. Anyway, just vote and comment why you like it, etc. Tongue My personal favourite is Flying Teapot, got me into the whole thing, but I still love You almost as much. Angel's Egg wasn't amazing for me Ermm

Once again, thanks for any feedback! Big smile

All of them are superb! 'You' is probably the most daring and consistent, but I seem very drawn to 'Flying Teapot', I love the murkier sound and hint of scuzzy danger to it

Embarrassed Okay, maybe terrible is a bit strong, but I didn't make the poll. I have all three and have yet to make it all the way through any of them in one sitting. I like it for a while and then suddenly I can't stand it anymore.

Weird results IMO.  Angel's Egg is compositionally the most interesting of the three, and I'd expect it to have more votes.

I voted for Angel's Egg only because it seems woefully neglected, however in reality i love it and You equally. It should be mentioned that Shapeshifter is an extension of the original trilogy and is a very good album itself. It was in fact my first Gong experience. It's not as good as the classic era but a very worthy listen nevertheless

Probably too much info., but, the day I bought my LP of 'Angel's Egg', I came into some blocks of hash (not from the same 'vendor' (ha ha)).
It was a splendid experience for the following few weeks (the LP), it was my 2nd GonG album - few weeks prior I had bought 'Continental Circus' and was blown away. When I came into 'You' - that was it. Longer jams, more synths, generally a 'spacier' experience. Lives on till this day. For me, 'You' is on par with 'Shamal' - both '5 star' albums to my ears.

I have known all three of the albums for a while now, but recently found a copy of Angel's Egg on vinyl. After a few listens, I have come to the conclusion that it is my favourite album. It may not be coherent in the same way as You, but it is a wonderful homage to all things strange and wacky.

So Angel's Egg.
I am currently digging:

Hawkwind, Rare Bird, Gong, Tangerine Dream, Khan, Iron Butterfly, and all things canterbury and hard-psych. I also love jazz!

Please drop me a message with album suggestions.

I love all three equally! So I can´t vote, because there aren´t option all of them. Commonly Flying Teapot seems to be the weakest in most opinions (least votes also in this) but it was my first Gong-album so I have listened it most and really liked as much as those others.
