What's Jacques Denjean's The Cult originally from?

I know that is a track on the various artists compilation album Silver and Gold, and I have that album, but I'm wondering what it was originally off of?   I expected it's from a film (or based on music from it), but I have various stuff by him (mostly 60s) including what I would have thought the most likely originally from my research, the soundtrack Morbo (1972) (though it sounds like it would be later than that and it isn't from it). 

The rateyourmusic, discogs, and wikipedia pages are woefully incomplete when it comes to him, and the original title may have been different.  I have found various other albums by him listed at other sites (selling albums), but without track names, and I don't even know what the original title was or if it was released on another album.  It's a great track, and would like to get what it is originally off.

I don't expect an answer, but just in case anyone can help me with this (I probably haven't searched hard enough).  I thought I might get lucky here and someone might know it.

The album, Silver and Gold has the blurb on the cover Musical Illustration for Film Radio, and Television, so it migght have been made or intended for any of those media.  And Side two of that album which contains all Denjean tracks is titled Strange and Mysterious. http://www.discogs.com/viewimages?release=2061531
