The greatest rock band of all time was Pink Floyd, at least that was my opinion for 35 years until I was introduced to Porcupine Tree in 2008.  Within 12 months, Pink Floyd dropped to No.2.
 
Steven Wilson is the greatest musician of his time ... and along with Gavin Harrison, Colin Edwin and Richard Barbieri (not to mention John Wesley), Porcupine Tree absolutely rules.  I can only beg that they produce some more music!

Never done a Porcupine Tree list, so this was quite difficult. 

Pretty much still this. 

Stop Swimming is underrated! Best song off of Stupid Dream. Smart Kid, Baby Dream, and Stranger by the Minute are up there too though of course..

Unlike many here, I do not listen to "songs". I do not even know the names of the songs, but I can tell you that the whole album plays through ... I'm into the music and the band as a whole, not just their haircut!
Music is not just for listening ... it is for LIVING ... you got to feel it to know what's it about! Not being told!
