Wait, it could be Hotspot Shield's fault...

And it is. Apparently PA does not react in a friendly way to Hotspot Shield. Why is that?

Many things.  But in seriousness, it was recommended to me by a friend so I can access turntable.fm, and I thought it was a cool program so I decided to leave it on. And I guess PA doesn't like me for it. And that's odd it's trying to show an advert.

Why do you think it's odd, they give you a free product that's a trojan horse for ads they get paid to deliver - you win they win, googleAds loses.
