I was wondering if there are videos known to have been made of prog bands that have not been presented on DVD yet, that you would like to see in the future?

Of things known to have been videotaped that are unavailable that i would love to see are all from my favorite band Triumvirat

1)  January 1975-Triumvirat on ABCs In Concert show, where they play the two suites on their then latest (and best) album Illusions On A Double Dimple-this was broadcast nationally in the States, and features the greatest lineup of the band, with Jurgen Fritz, Helmut Koellen and Hans Bathelt

2)  Bios Banhof Music-a German documentary featuring interviews and music from Triumvirat's album Old Loves Die Hard

3) A German program featuring the band as it existed during 1977's Pompeii album

I would give the world to be able to see these shows on DVD!

There must be other things by other groups that exist that are unavailable that i don't even know about

What do you know is out there that you would like to see put onto DVD?

Jethro Tull - BBC Sight and Sound 1977. That one never been officially released in any format though. Shame.

Agreed!! The versions of "Songs from the Wood", "Hunting Girl", and "Velvet Green" are some of my favorites.

Good to see another Tull fan on here, Barbu (as well as LOTR ... but aren't we all?). Have you been over to the Jethro Tull Board? There's some awfully nice folks over there.

Oh and, I'd like to see someone release a DVD (or two!!) of some of the Genesis stuff with Gabriel that's on youtube. It mightve been on that pricey boxed set, however, I need a Music Major Special that's more in my price range!

ELP-Mar y Sol-Live In Puerto Rico-the famous heralded concert from 1972 (I hear that a DVD of this is in the works!)

David Gilmour's 80's solo tour, I think there was a VHS called "New Game". It had some nice songs, and a killer version of "Murder". Also, Pink Floyd's "Delicate Sound of Thunder"... there is a recording of a concert in Venice, with a floating stage, and the people whatching it on Gondolas... it has a shortened set list, but the show must have been impresive. Also, of course, Pink Floyd's "The Wall". And I don't know if there is anything recorded from pre-wall Pink Floyd live, but I'd love a DVD from it (specially if it could be from the Animals tour). Also, it would be great a DVD from Waters tour with Eric Clapton on guitars (from the Pros and Cons tour), but I belive there's no recording from those shows).

Apart from Pink Floyd, though I don't know if there are recordings to get a DVD from, I'd love to see some Gabriel era Genesis DVD, a Wetton - Cross era King Crimson DVD, and a DVD from the original King Crimson line-up too.

Jethro Tull live in Paris in 1975. The only pro shot footage with Jeffrey Hammond and yet it remains unreleased.
Here is a excerpt of the footage:

That's beautiful! Maybe in 2015 when Ian does the Minstrel remix...
