Well as some of you may know my birthday was 3 days ago. One of the presents I got were my dad mailed me "Supernatural Fairy Tales: The Progressive Rock Era" from where he lives. Really a fantastic compilation I think, perfect for getting people into most facets of prog.

Anyways, my question starts here. It had a sticker on it saying it was "rare" and "out of print". A google search proved useless so I'm wondering if any of you guys know this: How long has it been out of print for and how exactly rare is it? I found a few copies on Amazon so it can't be that rare, but this is just a question of curiosity, I will never sell it.

I was after that myself in the early years of getting into prog but it was impossible for my dealer to get it and yet I ordered it so many years ago. It maybe rare as a sell through off the shelf at a retailer but its hard to call anything rare with amazon, ebay and other online sources these days.

I found a copy at a local music store and purchased it.  I can't say that I have ever seen another copy of it at any of the stores that I frequent.

I think I'm right in saying that it does not actually contain anything "rare", does it?

I don't think so.  I am pretty sure that all of the songs were previously released on albums released by the bands.  I can't say about the accessibility of such albums though.
