CIRCUS MAXIMUS!

Theyve really taken me by surprise!

Ive read about them in Scream Magazine. They sead that bands like DT, Shadow Gallery, Conception and Pagans Mind had a big challenge not to get lost in the shadows of this band..

And true it was! ... Truly, I have never been that positively surprised by a new band like this before.

I Bought the Album " The 1st Capter " along with " Octavarium", "The Human Equation" and "Room V" And I listened to all of them for a while and i couldnt pull "The 1st Chapter" out of my CD player!

The others will have to WAIT!

Highly recommended to all Progmetal fans!

The problem, they are almost EXACTLY like Dream Theater. Not very original stuff, not very highly recommended, but I definitely want to hear their album.

I am a huge prog metal fan and honestly,I have that cd and it doesn't really do anything for me.I just find myself playing more Pagan's Mind,Andromeda,Mind Key,Shadow Gallery,Symphony X,Pain of Salvation,Angra,Dead Soul Tribe,Into Eternity,Evergrey,Isis,Kamelot,Pantommind,Beyond Twilight,DT et al,and CM is gathering dust. And out of the cd's you bought SG's Room V is the one that is blowing me away right now.

I have this album and I agree with northprog. It is a great album (much better than Octavarium). Just for the record, I am not one of the ubiquitous DT bashers, I LOVE DT! I purchased all of the same albums as northprog, and I totally agree, it's the best of the lot. And the vocals are better than anything James Labrie could sing...... (heresy! heresy!)

How can you say those things if you haven't heard it yet!
