In 2007 the Chilean Neuroscientist and Musician Francisco J. Parada started composing Lied Notturna, a two-movement piece that nowadays spans over 80 minutes. Three years later, Bäitoník Configuration emerged from the non-linear interaction of Developmental Psychologists Lisa Cantrell and Viridiana Benitez, and musicians Steve Harms and Ricky Peden. Lied Notturna was their opening act.

Viridiana Benitez (USA) - Trumpet, Drums, Voice
Lisa Cantrell (USA) - Piano, Voice
Steve Harms (USA) - Electric Bass, Fretless Bass, Cello, Voice
Ricky Peden (USA) - Electric Guitar, Electric Bass, Drums
Francisco J. Parada (Chile) - Soprano Saxophone, Alto Saxophone, Flute, Drums, Voice

Thanks for the review DamoXt7942!

After a little bit than a year of work as a band, we will start recording our first album (The Second Movement of Lied Notturna) soon, and start our first mini-tour around the MidWest of the USA in April this year.
You can listen two (out of three so far) full pieces in our Bandcamp site and check more videos and join our facebook fan page for support.
