Missing tracks on Frances the Mute

I bought Frances the mute and Deadwing yesterday. Deadwing is so far a dull affair.I remember The The doing an album called Naked self which is very similar and i have not seen it reviewed on this site.Nor should it be as it is not Prog end of story. Naked self is a better CD too.

Anyway the point of this ramble is that on my computer i only see parts a and b of cassandra Geminni? Does anyone else have this problem?

Most reviews say parts a to e are the best on the album. Am i missing tracks?

Oh and F the M is a monstrous beast invoking every band that has ever been from Abba to Zappa. My head has been twisted inside out and mashed with a steak tenderiser from listening to this cd. I'm still working out whether it is a masterpiece or a rambling unholy racket. It certainly is not Barry White

Are you looking at it through windows media player?

The tracks are:

1. cygnus..

2. the widow

3. l'via..

4. miranda..

5 and onwards. cassandra geminni

I think it was done like this to make it have the same number of tracks as a regular album - otherwise with only 5 tracks their label would pay them for an EP not an LP.

your cd is fine it is the way windows media player reads the track listing.  refer to my previous post for the actual track listing...i.e. cassandra geminni is actually track 5 through 12.

On my Cd player Cassandra starts as track 5 and runs through to track 12. Therefore the track listing on windows media is incorrect. Thanks for your assistance.

Still its confusing as the track listing on the cd does not match the playing order. Weird!
