I'm guessing it's a different Aragon. This is what Wikipedia says: -

He has admitted on television, when guest appearing on both Would I Lie to You? and Never Mind the Buzzcocks, that in his younger years he was in a progressive rock band called Aragon that recorded an EP called "The Wizard's Dream." When exactly this was is not specified.

That EP isn't on the artist page, and Stephen is English and Aragon are Australian according to the PA biog.

Hmm, there could be something in the fact that he said it on a program called "Would I Lie To You". Also I wouldn't neccesarily believe anything I heard on Buzzcocks either.

But on Would I lie to You, he said that it was true, and named the 4 tracks on the EP, and the other band members, one of whom was on the show, so its seems to be true.

On Stephens Twitter page he was asked by someone to release the Album, but replied Hahahaha no. This must mean although it was recorded it was never released. Cry

Interview person: Tell us about The Wizard’s Dream. Can we hear this album anywhere?
Stephen: Ha! Recorded by my school band, Aragon, when we were 14 or so, it includes the 15 minute epic The Dragon. Delighted to report you can't find it anywhere.
