I'm somewhat new to prog, and I'd like some recommendations of good albums I should listen too.  Any help is appreciated.

Sure:

I like seventies prog like Pink Floyd, Frank Zappa and Yes the most.  But I like alot of other bands like Dream Theatre and Symphony X

Good concept, but I disagree with almost every album choice. Here's my attempt:

After Crying - De Profundis
Banco Del Mutuo Soccorso - Darwin!
Can - Tago Mago
Caravan - In The Land of the Grey and Pink
Devil Doll - The Sacrilege Of Fatal Arms
Egg - The Civil Surface
Flower Kings - Unfold the Future
Focus - Hambuger Concerto
Gentle Giant - EVERYTHING! Start with In a Glass House, though.
Gong - Angel's Egg
Hatfield and the North - The Rotter's Club
Henry Cow - Unrest
Höyry-Kone - Huono Parturi
Isuldur's Bane - MIND Vol. 1
Jade Warrior - Same
Jethro Tull - Thick as a Brick, Minstrel in the Gallery, Heavy Horses
King Crimson - Red
Liquid Tension Experiment - Vol 2
Magma - Mekanik Destruktiw Kommandoh
Mr Bungle - Disco Volante
Museo Rosenbach - Zarathrustra
Novalis - Sommerabend
Ozric Tentacles - Erpland
Pain of Salvation - Be
Quella Vecchia Locanda - Quella Vecchia Locanda
Ruins - Symphonica
Samla Mammas Manna - Måltid
Soft Machine - Vols 1 and 2
Taal - Skymind
Thinking Plague - In Extremis
Utopia - Todd Rundgren's Utopia
Van Der Graaf Generator - Pawn Hearts, Godbluff
Wigwam - Fairyport
Wyatt, Robert - Rock Bottom, Shleep
Yes - Close to the Edge, Relayer
Zappa, Frank - We're Only In It For The Money, Hot Rats, The Grand Wazoo

Listen to all that and you'll have a proper, BROAD, understanding of Progressive Rock!

Get all prog except records by Pink Floyd, as they're overrated beyond belief.  meddle is an abomination of the highest order.

I would recommend:

ELP, The Mars Volta, King Crimson, Mahavishnu Orchestra, Rush, Jethro Tull.

This IS a site with MP3's. I would suggest you download a few... search out the bands you like and disregard those you don't.
