Also on Nick Mason's Lie for a Lie. I wasn't aware of her making solo albums.
I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution

I wasn't aware of Nick Mason's Lie For A lie.

Truth.

Something to look for.

But yes, Ms Reilly has three solo albums and I have two. She just needs a decent band.

Jill Saward when she was in Fusion Orchestra is a serious omission! Great voice, great on stage, and a multi-instrumentalist, too.

And Jo Hollands of FO2 should rank here!

Inga Rumpf of Frumpy. No contestant to her voice when it comes to pwer and emotion. Have a look at "Take Care of Illusion":

Or "How the Gipsy Was Born":

She is over 60 now, but she still has i, as you can see here:

Sadly hardly anyone knows her outside of Germany.

Diamanda Galas for me. Annie Haslam has a lovely voice, but Galas's music is just astonishing. I think Amanda Palmer (of The Dresden Dolls) deserves a mention here as well.

I'm no expert on La Femme de Prog but I would've thought Kate "I had David Gilmour play guitar for me' Bush might've rated a mention.... 'Course she might be mentioned on one of the other nine pages of topic exploration so apologies if repeated...

Maybe Jennifer Batten, and those highly talented bass players (oh and singers - Imogen Heap and ... Joss Stone? - Jeff Beck gets as well... (that Live at Ronnie Scott's DVD / CD is the business btw...)

If she was prog I'd vote for her too, but I don't think she would be happy of being considered prog
