Here is part 1 of 3 for my video of Supper's Ready by Genesis. I am playing all the instruments, Brad Gent is on vocals, and there's a cameo of my kids:

Holy sh*t that's a lot of effort. I think it would have been better, though, if you had just laid the videos next to each other ala Pomplamoose, rather than putting them on that silly cloud background. You don't have to put as much effort into the video editing as they do (they make a living off their covers, after all), but a sharper presentation would help you get move views. It's a shame, though, that Brad can't quite reach those notes in Eternal Sanctuary Man...

And I had no idea that the solo around 8:15 was a guitar! I always thought it was Banks!

I thought the same thing before I watched a video of it performed live. LOL

And great job! Clap

It's both guitar and keyboard. You can tell while listening with earphones. Guitar is in one speaker, while keyboard is in the other.

I never understood this... spending so much time and effort to dub a song. Other than being surprised to see people actually going through with this, I just don't see the point.
I would so much rather see the hard work going into composition.

Thanks for your observation, mono. No one is forcing you to watch it. :)

I actually enjoyed it, it's Supper's Ready well played, what's not to enjoy.  But I could've just played the original one. I don't know why you chose this over composition, but that's not really the point here.

It was something I had to do. Supper is my favorite song of all time, and it was something I just had to get inside of. It is an aid to composition to study other forms of music, this is just my method of doing so. Thanks for the nice comments!
