   I've heard "guitar magician Robert Fripp", "guitar magician John Petrucci", but the ultimate magician when it comes to string instruments, has to be 
Niccolo Paganini

Yo, my namesake. I hope this list will be short

List: Prog musicians that are more virtuosic than Paganini. Name any string instrumentalist you know, including electric guitarists, bassist, etc..

Paganini was also a guitarist but I don't know if he was good.
And if you're wondering, I'm not good at any instruments (though I do play some of them). I consider myself a "virtuosic composer/sound engineer".
