I first saw Byron Nemeth Group on October 16th, 2009 at Peabody's Downunder in Cleveland, Ohio when they opened for Sonata Arctica, and I am glad that I did.

I am now a fan and PR of this band, now fronted by new singer and 33 year old Mentor, Ohio native Ray Richter (whom I have never seen or met, but have heard and trust me, he is worth a listen or 20.), and 40 year old lead guitarist/recording studio owner Byron Nemeth, who is as personable and charming as he is talented.

Also in this terrific progressive metal band are bassist Brian Glodde (35), drummer Dave Clark (34), and keyboardist Joe Hengesbaugh (35.)

This band (influenced by Rush, Dream Theater, Steve Vai, The Beatles, Queen, Joe Satriani, and Gary Moore) doesn’t stop as they play covers such as their metallized take on The Beatles’ classic “I Am The Walrus” and originals such as “Satrianimal” (which invokes images of Sega’s iconic mascot “Sonic The Hedgehog” turning over cars and generally creating chaos, which is an awesome thing.) Why this guy doesn’t work for Sega, I can’t tell you.

In addition to Byron Nemeth Group’s website, http://www.byronnemeth.com and Byron’s recording studio, Pacifica Studios (charging the nearly unheard of price of $25 per hour to record), which may be reached at http://www.pacificastudios.com In addition to his music career, he has a web design company, Pacifica Design (with low prices and quality service), which can be reached at http://www.pacificadesign.net.

All services may be reached at (216) 671-2608 or 3298 West 130th. St. Cleveland, Ohio 44111.

Check out Byron and all his services and music, you won't be disappointed!
