Guys, I have to say, this forum has proven helpful and entertaining. I have to say that my fetish for prog has been exacerbated by this site.

I don't have alot of time to think of exactly how to phrase it but i'll make it simple: I love classic prog, CTTE, Genesis, Camel, GG. No metal for me, EVER. Currently, the mars volta and maybe radiohead are the only two bands who make music I like. My question: Will we ever see a band that brings back the epic nature and whimsical tendencies of 60's/70s prog? Or are we destined to see bands like Creed at the top of album charts? Where are the virtuosos? Where are the elfs, and stonehenge, and the world shortages of LSD? Help me.

There's plenty of people who haven't gotten over the '70s. Wobbler, Anglagard, The Flower Kings, etc. Nobody cares about them, but why should you care what people think?
if you own a sodastream i hate you
