The top albums search engine

   I went and looked at the top 100 albums, and noticed that Pain of Salvation's "The Perfect Element" was the top album from either the prog metal or the tech/extreme prog metal genres (my two fave).  However, when i narrowed the search to only include the above two genres, and then I believe Scenes from a Memory is the top album, and Opeth's "Ghost Reveries" is the top extreme album.  Then I searched each genre by itself, and Dream Theater's "Images and Words" was the top prog metal album and Opeth's "Still Life" was the top extreme album.  How the hell does the search engine work?
