   hey my name's oskar 
I'm 17, from england (essex)
I'm gonna be honest and say I'm very fresh to the world of prog rock, but that's kinda the reason I'm  here.... the stuff I've listened to is like king crimson and a bit of genesis but I've really not delved into more yet - because I don't know where to look, so I'm hoping this forum will help me
my favourite band are a  band called Reuben who recently split up, they're sort of alternative rock but have a few progressive songs, but quite watered down (progressively I mean)
I also play guitar and sing in a band who often experiment with progressive structures, dodgy time signatures and just weird stuff. we're called Reverend Green and hope to start gigging soon

anyways yeah, if anyone's got anyone they'd like to recommend me to get some cds of....?
at the moment I've been listening to pretty heavy music but I do listen to alsorts so throw anything you've got at me lol
