Concerning themselves with space migration as much as they pursue the epicoda, The Laze are transhumanist musicians.
Hailing from the same small seaside town that was home to the great Olaf Stapledon, West Kirby, they follow a long line of adverturers and frontiersmen.
The tumultous sea, the distant stars, quantum physics, ancient mysticism, and biotechnology are their main inspirations. But then sonicially so are Zappa, Goblin, King Crimson, Devo, Gentle Giant, John Carpenter, Focus and Return to Forever.
You can hear from demos from their forthcoming self released LP "Spacetime Fabric Conditioner" here:

but we very much appreciate your enthusiasm and welcome.
soon our technology will adjust and allow us to breath your air.
thank you for having us, and thank you for your patience.

Unanimous yes vote for The Laze in Eclectic Prog.
Daevid, do you think that you could prepare a bio for the site (quite a down to earth one preferably ) and, hopefully, discography info too? |

Gone off them now. I liked them a lot before they became popular, but now every ones digging them, I mean that's soooo last Monday dude, gotta move with the times - like, this is like Friday now, I'm going to start a backlash and only listen to their early material - it's the British way afterall. - nah, seriously - they're cool |

thank you for your kind words.
we will attempt to construct a more linear and corporeal biography. you must understand our hearts reside outside of the sphere. our bodies, planted here, merely create resonating frequencies of longing for the horizon. to talk about our past is to misrepresent our future.
saying this, you have been very accomodating so we shall be too
we have been seriously enjoying and absorbing all the information this vault has to offer.
thanks again.
