There's cheap violins too? I'd really love to pick up violin again. It's a bit sad I gave up on it when i was a small child, but hey, would prolly never have found the guitar if I hadn't. My cousins play the violin... Though I think I could well enough pick it up without lessons... That's how the gypsies did it, right? Right? |

Yeah, violins are one of the cheapest instruments at the student level. You should be able to get one (with bow and case) for less than $150. It's too bad one can't find comparably cheap cellos (or even violas).

Nice! Love the shape. As far as the knobs go, one is volume and the other is what?

I still own my violin. It was the first instrument I picked up. Unfortunately I have long played violin, and honestly don't even really remember how to play anymore. It's quite sad, but I feel as though I've simply moved.
