   Ha, I wish I had this kind of community back when i was in high school
i was a bit of a musical outcast among my friends for my proggish tendencies (not exactly the hippest thing to be listening to during the grunge and psuedo garage-rock revival of the late 90's and early 00's)
Some of my favorite bands are Can, NEU!, early Crimson, early Yes, Faust, Legendary Pink Dots, and Acid Mothers Temple
Those are really just a sampling though, as I try and listen to as large a variety of bands and music as i can
I look forward to participating in the community, and am glad i found it!
