I hope there are more fans out there of La Torre dell'Alchimista...I wish they had a myspace, so people could easily listen to some tracks. However here is their site, with samples.
They are one of those truly genial bands that you just want to listen to, over and over again...

Also, today I am very very proud of La Torre, for earning a cool recommendation from Sweden:

Roine Stolt (Flower Kings) and Andy Tillison (The Tangent), contributing the Flower Kings official mailing list, mentioned La Torre dell'Alchimista - "Neo" as a great album:

Try "La Torre Della Alchimista" Italian band who do not use electric
guitar and who sound great. New album released last year. Fabulous and
my favourite prog CD of 2007 without a doubt. Their first was gem too.

Andy

Andy,
we invited La Torre dell'Alchimista to open for the Flower Kings last November at the Thunder Road (just where you've played recently). A bunch of very young musicians (same age as Beardfish) but with a strong background in the 70s prog music. By the way, it was their 1st live act with their new line up (formerly there were a 6 members bands). The band sounded much better as a keys-power trio plus a lead singer...Tomas Bodin himself got "Neo" at the end of their performance..

Marco

They were good!
I liked a lot the keyboardplayer.

Roine
