Am I missing something or is there a way to actually download any of these and put it on my digital music player?  Otherwise shouldn't it just say "Latest 50 Free Streaming Music Tracks" or something?  Isn't MP3 just the current upload format?  Not really a complaint, I've been turned on to several good artists through this feature...

Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

Right, the word "download" really shouldn't be there - you cannot download any of tracks provided by progarchives (as far as I'm aware).

Correct, you used to be able to download free tracks but this was changed to streaming. Looks like the text never got changed though.
