Well the first song, IntroOuvContro, is interesting though not extremely original, but also done very well. They mix the synth and spoken quotes quite nicely leading into the piano. I hear influences from Pink Floyd throughout the music, especially in the more ambient sections and the slower parts.
For some reason the band doesn't quite capture me, though I'm sure there would be many other people here who would enjoy it more. Things just move a little too slowly for me, though the later parts of "Suite" move at a pretty good pace and are a good listen. The third part of "Suite" has a cool section that reminds me of ELP in technicality and the sound of the organ. |

The influences are clear in this one - a lot of what is mentioned on their MySpace (Genesis, Banco, PF) can be found in bits and pieces. A nice listen, and a skilled set of musicians.
This is the type of music that I can play in the background while working, in contrast to music that makes me listen intently or pick up my bass. Well done, but not amazing. |
