Web site:
http://www.myspace.com/Paradigmnl

Bio:
Paradigm: 'A Paradigm is a coherent scheme of models and theories that form an intellectual framework where in 'reality' is analyzed.' The band: Paradigm is a dutch band of 4, 16 year old guys who were obsessed by making strange music. This "strange" music is also known as: Progressive rock. They all started playing an instrument when they were like 2 or 3 years old. They grew up with musical influences as: Toto, Yes, Dream theater, Rush, Deep Purple, led zeppelin and all kinds of other bands like that. This young musicians all go to a school that is specialized in ''art''. This band was started in 2004, in that year they knew they wanted to get serious with this band. They started to write songs that most of the time ended up in 9 or 10 minute songs. Very recently there was a new member added to the band: Leon(bass) Also, they recently finished there first album!!! The album is called: Paradigm When they started to record the album it was ment as a demo, bye joke, it ended up in a CD. The album is recorded in the Netherlands at the Key4Music studio's, and was finished at the 12th of November. If you want to hear some more of this guys, incredible progressive rock come see one of there shows(when you live in Holland of course). or send us an email:[email protected]

Initial comment:
These guys are worth checking out, especially when taking their age in consideration.

It definitely is very professional considering the age, and though there is room for development they certainly do have plenty of time to do so. I like the songs and the vintage feel they seem to have.  The musicianship is good, at first the vocals weren't really the style I tend to prefer but once I adjusted I came to like them quite a bit.

Angelo, the myspace page says they have a record label and an album out, so perhaps we should move them to the suggest new bands forum. I'm not sure what sub might be the best fit though. Right now I'm thinking either eclectic or heavy.

I don't think the record label name is for real, but I'll check. Key4music studio is literally 1 kilometre from my house....
