Again we are down to the subleties of prog definitions, based on my long held definition of progressive rock, as rock that literally progresses by taking on board new influences from outside the conventional rock field, then APC does meet that criteria. Incubus came out of a radio poll amongst radio listeners aged 18 to 25 - one of who sampled me a burn of tracks from 4 or 5 albums and there is a borderline case that they might be evolving that way. There is a strong case to say the first two Yes albums aren't strictly prog (for instance you may have caught the comments on the reissues in Sid Smith's Diary on the Krimson website last year) but with hindsight show they were heading that way.
