I just installed a new service over at ratingfreak.com ... you can now create an image with your top prog albums of 2007 using this link:

http://ratingfreak.com/srv/sig/MikeEnRegalia/top_prog_albums_curryear_max10.png

Just replace my user name with your name. The image displays your top rated albums of the current year - or of the previous year during January. You can also adjust the number of entries displayed. And of course colors and font settings of the signature configurator are used ... Smile

No takers? If you're not going to use it I'd be curious to know why, so I can improve the system.Smile

I don't think I've heard or at least rated 40 albums, but I'll check it out. Maybe I'll go rate more.

^ I'm sorry if my post was a bit misleading ... of course you don't have to rate 40 albums in order to use this feature. The idea is simply that you create an account and rate some prog albums of 2007, and as soon as you rate an album it will appear in the generated image.Embarrassed

ok guys ... 144 views of this thread, but only one post from someone other than myself ... please, it would help me very much to know why you think this is such a horrible idea.

Added a bunch of features:

  1. Position Count
  2. Genre Display
  3. Coming up: Main Genre/Prog Status selection ... you can have one chart display top prog rock albums, another one top non-prog metal albums etc..

@Angelo: How about a feature similar to the "Recent Finds" list in your signature? It could be integrated with your last.fm signature - one additional box like the one in my sig, displaying the 5 most recent albums which you gave good ratings.

haha I tried it but I've only reviewed one album from 2007 so far, so it wasn't really much of a list.

^ I think the best solution for you would be - to rate more albums.Big%20smile For example, you could rate albums of 2008 as you go, and by the end of the year you'll have a neat chart of the albums.
