   I'm surprised I haven't seen any mention of them around here. While not prog in the orthodox sense, they're a refreshing synthesis of garage/indie-rock, Beatles-derived melodies, and prog influence (Robert Pollard cites Selling England-era Genesis as among his top three influences). Look into them, if you haven't heard of them.

	Guided By Voices esp Robert Pollard is probably the most prolific quality song writer/musician alive today. His 2 to 3 minute pop/rock/prog gems are some of the most memorable melodies and creative arrangements & lyrics you're likely to hear anywhere!
