In relation to my other topic comparing SB and Echolyn, I figured these songs are kind of similar in that they showcase every trademark of prog in one song. I honestly can't say which I prefer. The only thing is, as I said about the bands in general, TP2 is seems more original and daring. I guess it'll get my vote then.

Dude the topic is "thoughts part 2" and "As the world". Logically the abbreviation would be tp2 and atw.

I voted for ECHOLYN's 'As the World' - they do that GG reinstallment so much better and with so much more energy. I love the 96-99 era of Spock's Beard, but that band at their best never equalled Echolyn regarding inventiveness, proficiency and real progressive musicalty... ˇˇnever!! Even in a subtle level, they could display more energy, as it is shown in their concept-album "Mei".
