Get your music heard - and reviewed!

 

 

I signed up a while back, and, among the kiddie two-line reviews, there are some that are actually helpful from people that know a thing or two about songwriting and music production - it's worth signing up just for that.

 

The bit I've really come to like is that you have to review other people's music in order to get your music into the system.

 

You can do this by genre, so you only review music you like - I've reviewed a lot of the Prog Rock on the site, and there's some good stuff being put out.

 

There are some bands there who are listed in Prog Archives, including Panzerballett, who currently have a song at #2 in the Prog Chart (they're a bit like an easy-listening version of John Zorn, but don't take that to mean they don't kick butt!).

 

Incidentally, Panzerballett's other chart entry is currently several positions below ours  

 

 

- click the Play All option - just about everything is worth a listen. Even if you're not in a band, you might well hear stuff you like.

 

If you are in a band, I'd say go for it - sign up. Most bands want their music to be heard, and this is a great way to do it. It's also a great way to find out what you can do to improve your music and get more people listening.
