But I will give it a shot:
I'm  17 years old and live in Belgium. I got in contact with prog music about 8 months ago, but I can't remember how exactly. I think it began with Pink Floyd. The first album I bought was Close To The Edge (Clap).
I'm not very good at naming genres, but I like Prog Metal, Symphonic, Post-rock, Art-rock,... and more. If you have some suggestions, please do Smile

Howdy from Texas.  Pick a genre you like and sample some of the music offered here.  I've found several great bands that way.

Welcome.  I see a wider range of taste in your posting so I'm sure you'll find lots of music you'll enjoy.  I've found that listening to one of the Prog radio stations is also a great way of finding new bands.  I hear a track I like, make a note of the band and then use this site to find out more!
