Topic: Back under a new name Posted: June 02 2007 at 13:32 |
Hi there, I have visited this site in the past but forgot about it until a friendly email reminder came inviting me back to the fold;)
I am now using the nick name of my prog band- T-Chant (Territorial Chant) as my name on this site.
I am a builder of high end tube guitar amps and rep for a High performance string and pedal company.
My fav prog bands are:
Kansas
Gentle Giant
Yes
Dixie Dregs
I am looking forward to being introduced to prog bands new or old that I have not heard before.
Cheers,
Bill Compeau- T-Chant

BY your name & nickname, I wonder if you've got some Acadian roots. And by your profession I figure you may get a lot of questions about tube amps. I'm starting on mine concerning an old Sears amp ('68-'69 or so, my guitar tech had to go through old catalogues to get the info on the tubes).

Hi there, my first amp was an old Sears Silvertone combo that sounded great if I remember correctly, wish I still had it....
Thanks for your friendliness;)

Yer gonna work out just fine here.....
Welcome!
BTW, I'm going to see Kansas tonight, and taking all three of my kids plus some of their friends with me. Pretty big change from the first time I saw them at my kids' age over 30 years ago...

Thanks, pretty weird taking our kids to see bands we liked when we were kids eh?
The singer in my band has an 11 year old boy who LOVES Kansas and Yes and is already writing creative melodies, too much! I guess there is hope for Prog in the future still!
