Anyone here likes abstract art?
Like pure emotional paintings, fractals, impossible figures etc...?
I think it's very cool! Big%20smile

Illusion paintings and abstract art are pretty cool. My favorite art style is surrealism though, like Renè Magritte and others.

Recently the Swedish artist Karin Mamma Andersson has caught my attention. Not abstract perhaps, but very interesting paintings. I went to the exhibition with her paintings at Moderna Muséet in Stockholm last Wednesday. If anyone has the possibility to go there, I heartily recommend them to do so.

I've been using a website for desktop backgrounds and they have some cool fractal and abstract stuff.  Here's the link:

The most powerfull trait on Magritte paintings is the displaced meaning on elements. I love the "Empire of light" series.
