The Peruvian jazz-rock band SOWETO will perform a gig on May 24th, celebrating their 1st anniversary as a proper band. The gig will take place at Centro Cultural Cafae (Avda. Arequipa, 2985 - San Isidro), starting at 7.00 PM.

Their sound bears punch and catchiness, with lots of funky and fusion elements, as well a some psychedelic hard rock adornments. All these elements help them add an effective variety to their expansive jams. You can hear some of their material at www.purevolume.com/soweto

If you like what you hear and you happen to live in Lima, you might as well attend this show after a busy working day…

Ticket prizes  -  6 soles (students)
                           12 soles (general public)
