Probably the best goal I've seen this decade!

It looks really similar to Maradona's legendary goal against England (not the hand of God, the other one Wink)

Muchas gracias Zitro Hug I had missed the Messi goal in the Spanish 'FA Cup' and had read so many euphoric comments about it that I became more and more sad because I am a huge Barcelona fan (since Cruijff came to Barcelona in 1974 Approve ) and an even more Messi aficionado, this man is football art ClapClap This goal looks like the second coming of Diego Maradonna, now I hope Barcelona will win the title and the Spanish Cup with a decisive contribution by ... MESSI Thumbs%20Up

Clap  Yeah!! That tremendous goal has crossed the earth!! And is, as everybody says, incredibly similar to the best goal ever by Maradona, BUT here you have to consider the CONTEXT: Maradona's was made in a world cup (cuartos del final, don't know how it's said in English) and Messi's in the Spanish league. I think there in Europe Messi is a sensation right now, isn't him?

I never understood why the former Argentine coach of the national squad kept Messi so many times on the bench during the latest World Championship Angry, incredible because he was one of the best and one of the few who was able to create something special Clap !

I don't pay attention to football, but I find how he got to the goal more amazing than the kick itself. That's phenomenal footwork.

A comparison of the two....Maradona V Messi..

Main difference for me: Maradona's adversaries were much more qualified than Messi's. Also, it was a World Cup, decisive game, etc, you have to have cold blood to do that!
