Well having been hanging out here on and off it seems only appropriate to let you hear what kind of thing I do.
I'm a British keyboard player and songwriter with a definite bias towards prog rock. My personal musical heroes are Rick Wakeman, and Keith Emerson, who as a kid in the 70s changed my perception of what music is about forever. (Neither of whom I could ever approach in terms of talent and ability, but both of whom inspire me musically beyond measure). You can read my short bio here: http://www.markone.eclipse.co.uk/bio.html
Eventually I will finish recording my 1st album entitled Fantasy Bridge (no really, I will!)
You can get a taster here: http://www.markone.eclipse.co.uk/projects.html (follow the links - most of them get you to soundclick where most of my music is hosted on the net. I should point out that most of these are preliminary demo versions.
I suggest you try "Don't Give Up on Love" (A love song with a difference. Kindred souls separated across alternate realities, no less!) and the (I hope) epic "Children of a Forgotten Sun" with lyrics written by the excellent poet and one of my on-line pals, Ted Barrett.
I should also thank Nick Crosby from Syracuse NY another on-line mate and collaborator, for the guitars on both of the above.
Anyhow, I'll be interested in opinions.

Good going, nice tech-symph with retro touches.. a bit like Rudess' solo stuff, or Dominik Muller. And an impressive homespun production

Thanks!
Were you talking about a specific song, or just generalising?
Anyone else like to pitch in here?
Cheers
M.

good work, i especially enjoy "don't give up on love". it reminds me a lot of one of my favourite books lyrically, and musically you do an excellent job of recreating wakeman and emerson's keyboard style (two of my biggest keyboard influences) and adding a modern touch so it doesn't sound derivative.
