Manta Ray and Schwarz, space rock from Spain

   What should be done to add new bands? Manta Ray and Scwarz are probably two of the most innovative bands in Spain.

Manta Ray started as a pop rck band (in fact, Manta Ray is the title of a Pixies´song), but very early started with droning (synths, theremin, etc) and developing their compositions into a post rock and even spacey sounds. Nowadays, their sound is a bit more aggressive, with distorted guitars.

On the other hand, Schwarz started as a psychedelic band in the 90´s (very influenced by 60´s sounds), but after their second record, the sound has developed into the spacy sounds. Nowadays they have recorded four records and an EP, getting a sound much elaborated and innovative, with more complex structures and using lots of electronics.

Curiously, they have a record together, and from this point, both bands changed their sound, evolving, as I said before, to distortions and electronics, respectively. This record also has a Kraftwerk and an Eno´s covers
