Topic: Editing reviews Posted: March 15 2007 at 18:55 |
Well, I was writing a review and when I re-read it, I had made the nastiest word repetition. I am awfully sorry for not paying attention, but could you help me editing this gross mistake? Please?

Send a PM to either Atkingani or EasyLivin, explaining exactly what you want done, and he will do it for you.

Editing reviews should be available to everyone. Just like editing posts. I can't understand why it isn't...

It is to protect the site Tuz. All new reviews are checked when they are posted to ensure that they are appropriate.

Then why don't they just reappear on the front page. That's a badly needed feature as Im sure I'm not the only one that has made reviews based on emotion or that look back and would change something. I mean, there's just tons of inaccurate data on the site because of this. I for one would probably redo most of my reviews as I have learned much in the time since I wrote them and have a better understanding of music.

If anything, it would better to just have the ability to delete our review and replace it.

As I said in my earlier post .... ..... all you have to do is send a PM to Easy Livin or Atkingani explaining what you want to do .... if you want reviews deleted they will do it for you .... easy really

it's not just one review, its many. I realize there is a way around it. Really, I'm just saying I think it should be available to people. It's an inconvenience to have to send PMs for every little detail. It would just be more efficient with an editor, or at least like I said, the ability to delete and replace or just plain delete if you don't want that review on the site.

Oh shoot...so today I went to the Collaborators link on the top of the PA home page (looking for the people to PM to fix a review of mine), and saw a little thing saying something like "Logged in as asimplemistake:" and there it said something like "your profile and reviews" so i clicked it and edited one of my reviews there and it got changed.
Was I not supposed to do that cause I'm not a collaborator?
