I just like to have control over ads and scripts - and Adblock gives me that control. You're welcome to describe how to disable google analytics with other browsers ...

I must confess I use Firefox more too, Opera seems a bit strange to me, but that's OK too!!
Mike, usually there are some Internet Security software that can block Ads, I think PC Cillin does, well it did when I used the trail, I use Zone Alarm and Avast now.
There are some some software that is designed for Ad Blocks but nearly all I tried were absolutely crap, did do nothing!!
Ad Blocker Plus is better than Ad Blocker (original), that's just my opinion, cause it riddens all the ad's, but there are some function it blocks that are not ads e.g. Website Counters, other than that it's great.
