Hi all you prog-diggers out there,

This site is news for me, and it's got some special rules compared to other sites I know, but I'm gonna try...

Has anybody heard of Danish 70s group, Secret Oyster? (I can imagine a few raised hands...) Well, has anybody heard of Karsten Vogel and Robin Taylor? (Hm!)

Karsten Vogel was the leader of Secret Oyster (and Burnin Red Ivanhoe), and the Taylor guy is me. What some of you might find interesting is, that Karsten and I have been working together for allmost a decade now; live as members of Taylor's Free Universe (a handful of CDs available) as well as in the studio with Taylor's Universe and several of my solo projects (all in all a large amount of CDs available).

I'd like to hear from PA members (not necessarily Oyster fans - but it would probably help!), who'd like to review this stuff on PA.

Read about Taylor at:

If you link on to cdbaby.com, there's plenty of sound clips as well.

Yours in prog,

Rob

Welcome!

Nice to meet ya! Unfortunately I've never heard about Secret Oyster or Karsten Vogel. The only artist from Denmark I know is King Diamond (who I really like, BTW).

Welcome indeed! Thumbs Up

I have all Secret Oyster albums, so (obviously) I'm familiar with Karsten Vogel's name. Never heard of this project of yours though, sounds intriguing!
